I am an emerging artist. In 2009 I graduated with a BFA in photography from Herron School of Art and Design. This year I have created a business: Heidi Nichole, also known as Heidi Nichole Photography. Like many other artists, I am interested in making a positive impact with my art by creating work which is morally sound and humanistic and which reflects by ideals. My most prevalent subject matter includes people and relationship to nature, and a common theme throughout my work is vulnerability. I am interested in traveling internationally, volunteering, and continuing to create work which reflects my expanding perspective on globalization. My goal is to make art that relates to and connects every human being. "Quiet Spaces"* is a brainchild of mine which has developed as I seek for harmony, peace, and wellbeing. Within my travels, I found spaces which embody a holistic, protective, nurturing, warming, and liberating spirit. These spaces reflect what I hope to attain within myself. Technology is an apect of globalization which makes specific cultural and geographical locations more accesible. The use of technology can be destructive or it can be utilized compassionately and positively. My goal is to use digital photography technology as a tool for creating work which is beautiful with depth and intention.
